Description

Pedrosillanos CasaAmella chickpeas are grown in Spain following all the precepts of organic farming.

Indication

They are one of the most appreciated varieties in the country for their buttery, not mealy texture and their intense flavor. They have a very fine skin and after cooking they do not peel like the rest, which makes tasting them a pleasant experience. Its shape is rounded with a small and pointed beak and it is much smaller than the Castilian chickpea and any other.

Intake mode

It is recommended to soak in lukewarm water and salt for 12 hours. Boil 3 parts of water to 1 of chickpeas, cook for 1 hour in a pressure cooker or 3 hours in a casserole (approximately).

Precautions

We guarantee 99.9% purity in this merchandise, but since it is a product from the field, despite using the highest technology for its processing, some trace of this allergen may appear in a rare and exceptional way. For this reason, the absence of it cannot be guaranteed 100%. If a gluten content below 20ppm is guaranteed according to the European regulation No 828/2014 of the Commission of July 30, 2014. For this fact this food can be called "gluten free"
