Sprouted sunflower contains all the essential amino acids, and after germination, the nutritional value of the seeds is increased tenfold. Nature & Partage also rigorously selects its seeds, which come from organic production in Gironde. They contain 18% protein, 13% carbohydrates including a significant portion of fiber. Sunflower seeds, once germinated are an excellent source of vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, D and E, in carbohydrates, lipids (essential fatty acids), lecithin, fibers, minerals and trace elements (magnesium, copper, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, iron, calcium). How to use sunflower seeds? Organic sunflower seeds are eaten as raw sprouts on soups, salads, raw vegetables, but they can also be eaten as an aperitif. You can use them in all your recipes as a replacement for pine nuts. It is recommended to let the seeds soak for 12 hours to activate them and then to respect a germination time between 8 and 10 days.
