Description
Fast growing arboreal plant. It reaches a height of 15 meters.
This palm grows well in a location with direct sun, and adapts well to poor soils.
Irrigation must be regular, tolerating abundant rainfall.
The transplant is carried out in spring when the plant measures between 20 and 30 cm. It can be planted in 100-liter pots.
The flowers of the Washingtonia appear in spring grouped in inflorescences. The fruit is elliptical or ovoid, blackish in color, and measures about 0.6 cm in diameter.
Indication
Soak the seeds for a couple of days before sowing.
