Properties and benefits of Fucus 230 mg
The fucus is a brown algae rich in mucilages, minerals, such as sodium salts, potassium and magnesium; trace elements, particularly iodine and also cobalt, zinc, nickel, chromium and silicon. It is also a good source of nitrogenous matter and vitamins A, B1, C and D.
Slimming properties are attributed to it due to its high iodine content, stimulating metabolism. Due to its mucilage content, which, in contact with stomach and intestinal fluids, forms a viscous gel that increases the volume of feces, promotes peristalsis, thus exerting a satiating effect and hindering the absorption of sugars and fats.
