Precautions
It should not be given to children. Given the lack of data on its use during pregnancy and lactation, it is recommended to avoid its use during these stages. Glucosamine is extracted from the exoskeleton of crustaceans, so it should not be administered in case of shellfish allergy. There is a possible interaction between glucosamine and oral anticoagulants (acetocoumarol, warfarin) so special medical control is recommended in patients receiving oral anticoagulants.
