Description
Evening primrose oil from Naturitas is a food supplement based on cold-pressed Evening Primrose oil, and Vitamin E.
Evening primrose oil pearls have a content of 10% gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a precursor of prostaglandins PGE1, which participate in the regulation of the nervous, cardiovascular and reproductive systems, and also help to improve the state of the fur.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.
Properties and benefits of evening primrose oil
Evening primrose oil stands out for its richness in essential fatty acids (gammalinoleic and gammalinolenic acid-GLA), which are necessary for the correct production of prostaglandins (hormone precursors capable of regulating many functions of our body).
A GLA deficiency triggers a series of problems such as dryness and skin irritations, abnormalities in the liver, alterations in the production of prostaglandins and even growth problems in children. Evening primrose oil is a great ally to combat pre-menstrual symptoms (fluid retention, irritability, abdominal pain).
GLA is found naturally in triglycerides that form vegetable oils, in vegetables and in some nuts; however, one of the best sources is evening primrose seed. The need for a supplementary intake of evening primrose oil increases every day in modern society; where the intake of vegetables, vegetables and unsaturated oils is decreasing.
The addition of vitamin E to the formula serves to protect the oil from rancidity, ensuring the good condition of the oil.
How to take evening primrose oil?
The intake of 2-4 pearls a day is recommended, with a glass of water, juice or milk.
Precautions
