Description
Flax Seed Oil from Douglas laboratories is nature's most concentrated source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential element of omega-3 fatty acids. Flaxseed oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (Omega 3 ), unsaturated (Omega 6) and oleic fatty acids (Omega 9). It also contains protein and fiber.
Properties and benefits of Flax Seed Oil
Its quality depends directly on the quality of the raw material used as with the pressing processes used for its extraction, being the highest quality when it is obtained cold. Thus, Douglas Laboratories® flax seed oil is extracted without the damaging effects of heat, light and oxygen, using a mechanical expeller press. Through this process, the oil is never exposed to temperatures above 36 ° C, preserving its color and natural content, as well as the naturally occurring fatty acids, phosphatides, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Flaxseed oil contributes to the normal maintenance of cholesterol levels in the blood, with a consumption of at least 2gr a day. Flaxseed oil pearls are an ideal supplement for those who want to control their cholesterol with fatty acids of plant origin (vegan or vegetarian diets).
Precautions
Do not exceed the expressly recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle.
