Description
Officina Naturae Calendula Oil is a classic and well-known remedy, used as an anti-inflammatory and healing agent in case of injuries that are difficult to heal, inflammatory skin conditions, varicose veins, hemorrhoids and chilblains.
Properties and benefits of Marigold oil
This product is obtained by maceration in oil of the flowers of Calendula officinalis L. The oleolite contains the resinous and essential fraction of the flowers, as well as a part of the flavonoid fraction, that is, the pigments that give the flowers the bright orange color. These two fractions are known as the ones from which the antiseptic, healing and anti-inflammatory properties of the oleolite derive.
Precautions
It presents no problems whatsoever, apart from those allergic to Asteraceae (daisy family) who could have sensitization from contact.
