Description
Maple has a slight caramel flavor. Maple syrup comes from the maple tree. This produces a sugary juice every year. A delicious plant-based alternative to honey or a substitute for raw sugar.
Properties and benefits of maple syrup
Maple syrup is obtained from maple sap and in addition to sweetening our dishes it has many properties.
It has half the calories of white sugar, we also provide our diet with different minerals, such as potassium and calcium, as well as vitamins of type B, A, and H, folic acid, riboflavin and zinc.
When we talk about grade C in the sap syrup we refer to the time of extraction, and also its different grades have different organoleptic characteristics.
- Grade A is a light-colored syrup with a sweet and mild flavor and therefore has more glucose and less minerals.
- Grade B is darker in color, but without leading to very dark levels and with an intermediate amount of glucose and minerals.
- Grade C is the darkest, dark brown, and contains the lowest level of glucose and maximum minerals.
