• The safety and efficacy of this product have not been established in children. Consequently, it should not be administered in this age group.
• Due to the high content of vitamin D, it is not indicated for use during pregnancy or lactation, since the daily intake during pregnancy and lactation should not exceed 600 IU of vitamin D.
• In high doses and in prolonged treatments, the appearance of hypercalcaemia is possible, which is avoided by adjusting the dose.
• Vitamin D can interact with the aluminum in some antacid preparations, so it is recommended to separate the intake between the two.
• Special monitoring is recommended in patients treated with cardiotonic glycosides.
• Its use requires special caution in patients with kidney failure or kidney stones.
