How to apply black henna?

Take between 50 – 200g of black henna, depending on the length of the hair. In a large bowl, mix the henna with hot water (about 60°C) little by little until the mixture has the consistency of yogurt.

You can let it sit for 10-15 minutes before applying it to clean, dry and well-detangled hair, from the root to the tip of the hair, and wait between 60 – 90 minutes (depending on the intensity of color desired) before washing it. only with water.

If you have a lot of gray hair, we recommend using the double process, that is:

-Step 1: Apply pure henna (mixed with water) on clean hair for 45 minutes.

-Step 2: Wash hair with a sulfate-free shampoo. (You will be left with a red/orange color but don't worry as in the next step we are going to convert the red/orange color to a dark brown color).

-Step 3: Apply the black henna (mixed with warm water at about 60ºC) on the hair (it can be applied to wet hair or dried beforehand) and let it act for 60-90 minutes.

-Step 4: Wash hair with water only and wait 48 hours before washing with a sulfate-free shampoo.
