Description

Indication

Airtight glass jar of 1500 ml capacity Super Jars, by Le Parfait. Perfect for making preserves, pickles, storing and transporting all kinds of food and preparations. Rounded and wide mouth, 8.5 cm in diameter.

The jar is made of high quality thick glass (allows sterilization and freezing). The lid is attached to the jar by means of a 18/10 stainless steel clamp and the sealing gasket is made of natural latex.

Due to its capacity, this jar is very suitable for packaging sauces, pickles, fruits in syrup, liqueurs, etc., storing coffee, sugar, legumes, nuts, cereals, or mueslis, and also as a lunch box to take food away from home being totally hermetic, without risk of leaks.

Intake mode

• Safe preserves : fill the jar leaving 2 cm of space between the food and the mouth of the jar. Close the jar and place in a pasteurizer or sterilize by boiling. To check that it has been done correctly, remove the clamp and check that the lid does not separate from the jar. It is necessary to use a new sealing gasket every time a preserve is made.
• Pickles or pickles : introduce the vegetables and cover with brine leaving 2 cm of space between the food and the mouth of the jar. Close and leave to ferment for the time necessary for each type of pickle.
• Store : store spices, sauces, jams, individual servings of food, etc. Dehydrated foods can be stored, since they are completely sealed and moisture does not enter, as well as already fermented foods.
• Freeze : in this case, as in any other jar, we must be careful to leave a little free space to avoid breakage when the food expands when frozen. It is advisable to avoid sudden changes in temperature: if we have put the hot food in the jar, we must let it cool before putting it in the freezer.
• Transport food. We do not need lunch boxes, the jar is the perfect container as it has an airtight, practical and safe closure.
• Decorate : due to their 'vintage' design they are perfect for decorating any corner of the house.

Precautions

Clean with hot soapy water and allow to air dry. Do not use abrasive sponges. Not dishwasher safe.
