Indication
The AirFree system is designed to help your baby take in less air. The teat stays full of milk, even horizontally, so you can feed your baby in an upright position. Reducing the air a baby takes in can help reduce common feeding problems like colic, gas, and reflux.
It includes:
- 2 x 125 ml anti-colic bottles
- 1 x AirFree Ventilation System
- 2 x Classic bottles + 260 ml
- 1 x transparent orthodontic pacifier 0/6 months
- 1 x Cleaning brush for bottle and teat
* BPA-free plastic bottles
As your baby grows, you need to change what you eat. Choose a nipple with a developmentally appropriate flow. Philips Avent Anti-Colic and Classic+ bottles can be used with or without the AirFree system, but should only be used with Philips Avent Anti-Colic and Classic+ Teats.
Suitable range from breastfeeding to cup feeding. We have designed our range of bottles so that the tops and bottoms can be easily mixed and matched. So you can conveniently go from bottle to training bottle to sippy cup, with fewer parts.
You can use the Philips Avent anti- colic bottle with or without the AirFree system. This system is compatible with our 125ml, 260ml and 330ml Philips Avent Anti-Colic and Classic+ bottles.
The teat remains full of milk even with the bottle held horizontally so your baby can drink in a more natural, upright position. This can help reduce reflux, improve digestion, and make feedings more comfortable for you and your baby.
Our unique AirFree system draws air out of the teat so baby swallows less air when drinking. This can help reduce common feeding problems such as colic, reflux, and gas.
The AirFree system can be easily assembled with any Philips Avent Anti-Colic or Classic+ bottle. Cleaning is also a breeze thanks to the bottle's wide neck, and there are few parts to clean.
The shape of the teat allows for secure latch-on and the ribbed texture helps prevent the teat from collapsing for comfortable, uninterrupted feeding.
Intake mode
Clinical studies have shown that the Philips Avent bottle reduces colic and fussing. How? A valve in the teat prevents the formation of a vacuum as the baby uses it to maintain uninterrupted feeding. This can reduce colic, gas, spitting up, and burping.
- To get started, fill the bottle with milk, place the AirFree piece over the rim and screw onto the nipple.
- Tilt the bottle down once to fill the nipple, and you're done.
- When using it, make sure the AirFree system stays on top.
- The teat fills with milk, even horizontally, to facilitate feeding in an upright position.
