Chitosan is a by-product of chitin, a structural component found in the shells of crustaceans and shellfish. In addition to being consumed for its dietary properties, in Japan, for example, it has been used to purify wastewater, due to its ability to absorb heavy metals, fats, oils, and other potentially toxic substances.

However, the main characteristic and what really makes chitosan different from the rest of the usual dietary fibers is its ability to attract the fat present in the diet and trap it so that it cannot be digested or assimilated in the intestine. The capacity to trap fat is estimated between 4 to 6 grams of fat per gram of Chitosan.

Chitofort plus enhances the unique ability of chitosan fiber by adding:

• Vitamin C that produces a decrease in the viscosity of the chitosan fiber, thus trapping a greater amount of fat.
• Nopal fiber that presents a synergistic action on fat retention, achieving a greater sequestering capacity and subsequent elimination. The Nopal helps to reduce appetite and favors the metabolism of fats, helping to control the silhouette.
• Onion helps maintain optimal levels of blood lipids.

How to take Chitofort Plus?

It is recommended to take 2 to 4 capsules a day, distributed during lunch and dinner with plenty of liquid (it is recommended to drink 4 to 6 glasses of water a day).

Gelatin capsule, Thinners (microcrystalline cellulose and magnesium stearate), Anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide).

For 4 capsules:
Chitosan Polysaccharide Fiber (1200 mg), Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) (200 mg), Nopal Extract (100 mg), Onion Polyphenolic Extract rich in quercetin (60 mg).
