Properties and benefits of Nutrimetabol II

There is increasing scientific evidence of the beneficial effects of glycine as a nutritional supplement. Glycine protects the body against shocks due to both blood loss and endotoxins, reduces the concentration of alcohol in the stomach and increases recovery from alcohol-induced hepatitis, decreases liver damage induced by hepatotoxic drugs, blocks apoptosis and in the kidney decreases the nephrotoxicity caused by the immunosuppressive drug cyclosporine A and prevents the formation of free radicals. It can also be useful in case of inflammatory processes since it decreases the formation of cytokines.

A glycine supplement in the diet prevents degenerative conditions and, when administered in doses of 10 grams per day, produces a general improvement in these conditions in a period of time that, in most cases, is between two weeks and four months.
