Description
Gimnema by Longlife is a gymnema supplement titrated at 25% in gymnemic acids, useful for the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids and for the control of the sense of hunger.
Properties and benefits of Gimnema
Gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre) is a climbing plant native to the Middle East and India, where it is widely used by Ayurvedic medicine. Its name derives from gur-mar which means "devourer of sugars". This plant, in fact, has a long tradition as an agent capable of limiting the absorption of sugars in the body and reducing the perception of sweet taste. The leaves of the gymnema are rich in gymnemic acid, a complex of glycosidic molecules, which seems to act directly on the gustatory and intestinal sugar receptors. To this compound are attributed the ability to inhibit the perception of sweet taste and the hypoglycemic and hypocholesterolemic action.

It is recommended to take 1-2 capsules a day with water before a meal.
