Description
It is obtained by natural evaporation of Dead Sea water and does not undergo any chemical treatment, thus preserving all its virtues. After its harvest on the shores of the Dead Sea, the salt, which is still wet, is dried and then sifted according to its grain size.
Properties and benefits of Dead sea salt
It is a natural exfoliant, it is full of minerals that give it purifying and regenerating properties. This scrub makes it possible to remove dead cells, to deeply cleanse the skin pores of their impurities. Dead Sea salt deeply purifies and revitalizes the skin.
Dead Sea salt is also known for its calming properties and its effectiveness in calming inflamed and irritated skin. In high concentrations, Dead Sea salt is known to have an action on certain skin problems. Thanks to its magnesium and bromine content (a natural sedative that helps combat anxiety), Dead Sea salt soothes your skin and contributes to your well-being.
It also promotes skin hydration.
How to apply Dead sea salt?
It is recommended diluted in hot bath water to clean the pores of the skin, eliminating toxins and dead cells. For a relaxing bath or foot bath, mix 100g of salt into your hot bath water. Rinse after 15 min. Finally, moisturize your skin with a vegetable oil, body milk or care balm. Add a few drops of essential oils to the bath for flavor. For an exfoliating foot bath, dilute 150 g of salt in a bowl of hot water. Let your feet soak for 15 minutes. Dry and sand the smoothed parts with a pumice stone.
