Description
Bio green lentils are one of the oldest legumes in the world, they have always been highly valued for their nutritional composition. Associated with cereals, it constitutes an ideal vegetable alternative to animal proteins. Green lentils have specific nutritional benefits: they are rich in protein, iron, and phosphorus.
Intake mode
Rinsing is recommended. Pour 1 bowl of green lentils into 3 bowls of cold water. Bring to a boil and cook for 25 minutes over low heat. Salt at the end of cooking. It is recommended to associate legumes and cereals to benefit from their respective contributions in protein and complementary amino acids (2/3 of cereals for 1/3 of legumes).
Precautions
To facilitate its digestion, add a few grains of cumin, green anise or fennel or a little Kombou seaweed to the cooking water.
Storage conditions
Store in a cool and dry place.
