Description
Bulgur is a cereal prepared with several species of precooked durum wheat that is used in many recipes, especially in the Middle East and Africa. As it is broken wheat, its use in the kitchen is similar to that of rice, since it has a similar texture.
Indication
This Eco bulgur is rich in: starch, carbohydrates, fiber and proteins. In protein it exceeds most cereals, that is why it is an ingredient widely used by athletes, so it is highly recommended to incorporate it into our diet. Very digestive and mild, it is usually recommended for people who have poor digestion or stomach problems.
Intake mode
It is recommended to cook the Bulghur, with 2 measures and a half of water for one of bulgur for 15 or 20 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before serving. Once cooked add it to your recipe. The recipes with bulgur are very similar to those for rice. It is mainly used to make tabbuleh, a salad that is made mainly in Lebanon and Syria.
