Description
Moka Ethiopia 100% Arabica - Ground Organic Destination Filter is an organic ground coffee, pure arabica grown in the region of Djimmah and Limu on the African highlands. An exceptional mocha, from organic farming. Tasting: velvety and mellow. Rich in magnesium, iron and vitamin PP.
Indication
A legendary coffee, Ethiopia is the country where coffee was discovered for the first time in the 16th century by a goatherd monk realizing that his goats were bursting with energy after having nibbled on the berries of these shrubs. The coffees of Ethiopia are essentially high altitude coffees. This Pure Arabica is a natural variety growing on the western slopes of the Ethiopian highlands at around 1500 - 2000 m altitude in the wild, a small part of the production of which is now controlled by a European organization, validating organic farming without chemical fertilizer, or pesticide. Ripe cherries are picked by hand one by one by farmers from October to March. They are then prepared according to the wet method, reserved for the best vintages, then dried for one to two months before being exported from May. Very appreciated by the French, this species gives very good quality fruits with the elongated shape, the cultivation at high altitude giving more finesse to its aromas, a slight acidity and lots of body. We sublimate the prestigious assets of this grand cru with an intermediate, artisanal and slow roast, in 18-20 minutes. Freshly roasted, this coffee delivers all the benefits of its terroir to the consumer.
