Description
Probios corn for popcorn is one of the most important cereals widely cultivated both in tropical and temperate regions, including Italy. It represents the food base in the populations of Latin America.
Indication
Corn originates from the American continent, where the first crops seem to date back to the prehistoric era. It can be used in the form of flours for the preparation of polenta and breading or by boiling the whole grain for salads.
Intake mode
It is advisable to grease the bottom of a tall narrow pot with oil, add a layer of corn kernels, cover the pot and put it on the stove over medium heat. Lower the heat when the corn starts to crackle, once ready, add salt to taste. Popcorn can also be made without oil.
Precautions
It may contain traces of sesame seeds, nuts and soy.
Storage conditions
Keep in a cold and dry place. Avoid direct exposure to sources of light and heat.
