Manuka New Zealand produces a unique New Zealand Monofloral honey of the highest quality and widely scientifically studied, recognized over the years for its remarkable natural bio-activities and unique properties due to the presence of natural Methylglyoxal (MGO ) . The higher the MGO values in Manuka honey , the more bioactive substances are present in it.

Our ISO 17025 accredited laboratory and RMP (Bee Product Processing) storage ensure a secure supply chain from the beekeeper to the finished product, and from there to the end consumer. We carry out tests of authenticity and quality of honey, both in its raw material and in the phase of the finished product, guaranteeing its highest quality, total purity and maximum safety.
All batches of honey undergo rigorous on-site laboratory testing before being shipped. If necessary, additional samples are sent to external laboratories certified by IANZ (International Accreditation New Zealand) for analysis by this independent New Zealand accreditation body. Manuka honey must meet the specifications of the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) as established in its guiding document 'Interim labeling guide for Manuka honey' of July 31, 2014.
The specifications for Manuka honey include the following parameters: color, conductivity, flavor, aroma, presence of Manuka-type pollen, and presence of MGO and DHA .

Our Monofloral Manuka honey undergoes strict tests to ensure that the product is authentic, pure and safe. Following and complying with the new MPI (New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industry) definitions for New Zealand Manuka honey , which were adopted in December 2017.
This definition specifies a set of five science-based markers that identify the origin and quality of New Zealand Manuka honey . These markers must be met in order to designate honey as New Zealand Manuka honey . Only honey that meets these new standards will be certified for export as authentic Manuka honey from New Zealand .
