Indication

Mug for daily use in the kitchen or for excursions and camping, since titanium is a very light material, which allows it to be easily transported anywhere. It has a double wall that better maintains the temperature of the drinks. It includes two lids, one made of titanium and the other made of silicone, the latter being used to place the titanium infuser inside the cup. Both are adjustable, but not watertight as they have a small hole that prevents pressure inside when heating the liquid.

At Conasi we chose this cup mainly for its total absence of toxicity, thanks to the titanium it is made of. It does not contain any other material, heavy metals or plastics in any of its parts:

Intake mode

The titanium cup can be used like a cup made of any other material, and can also be used to heat water or other drinks directly over the fire, provided that the cup is not empty when it comes into contact with the heat source. Titanium is a metal that changes color with high temperatures, so if it receives a lot of heat in direct fire and/or with nothing inside it, it can darken. If this happens, it is only an aesthetic change, not affecting its properties or its safety at all.

Storage conditions

It can be washed in the normal way, even in the dishwasher, although it is recommended to wash by hand, with a soft cloth and detergent. Titanium is a metal that generates a very light layer of almost negligible oxide, a kind of protective film for the metal, stable and absolutely non-toxic. If a titanium product is scratched with a sharp object or scouring pad, this outer layer is affected and a scratch can be seen. This layer of oxide is recreated in that area, although it is not visible to the naked eye, it is one of the characteristics of titanium in contact with air and reinforces its biocompatibility.
