Intake mode
It is recommended to plug the appliance into the mains socket.
The light that indicates the connection of the plug in the socket will light up and the light indicates that the appliance is heating up. When the appliance reaches temperature (after approximately 3 minutes) and is ready to use, the pilot light will go off. The pilot light will come on again when the temperature required for cooking drops.
Fully open the appliance, unlocking it by pressing the corresponding safety tab upwards and, using a ladle, pour the previously prepared dough onto the bottom plate of the appliance. Pour the mixture making sure that all the spaces are covered, but without exceeding the amount, otherwise it could come out during cooking.
Close the upper platen on the lower one, pressing slightly downwards until the locking lever is heard to click. During the cooking time, it is advisable to follow what is indicated in the recipe below. To remove the waffle from the appliance, if necessary, use a wooden or plastic spatula.
Precautions
- Make sure that the electrical voltage of the appliance corresponds to that of your electrical network.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is connected to the mains; disconnect it after each use.
- Do not place the appliance on or near sources of heat.
- During use, place the appliance on a stable horizontal surface.
- Do not leave the device exposed to atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.).
- Check that the electric cable does not touch hot surfaces.
- Make sure that children do not play with the appliance.
- Never immerse the body of the product, the plug and the electric cable in water or other liquids, use a damp cloth to clean them.
- Even when the appliance is not in use, the plug must be disconnected from the electrical outlet before attaching or removing individual parts or before cleaning.
- Make sure that your hands are always dry before using or adjusting the switches located on the appliance or before touching the plug and power connections.
Storage conditions
Only clean the appliance with a damp cloth after having disconnected the plug from the socket and after the appliance has completely cooled down. To clean the plates, use only a damp cloth.
