Description

The abundance of mineral salts makes fucus a remineralizing plant. Iodine gives it a stimulating thyroid action, favoring catabolic processes, which is why it is used as an adjunct in the treatment of overweight. Potassium salts are diuretic.

It is indicated in hypothyroidism, obesity, localized adiposities, bulimia, gastroduodenal ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux, hyperlipidemia, constipation, diarrhea. In topical use wounds, epistaxis, dermal ulcerations, dental hemorrhages.
The high swelling capacity of algin, which is not absorbed intestinally, induces a sensation of gastric fullness. Due to the great adhesion capacity and the coating power of the colloidal alginate solutions, it acts as a protector of the digestive mucosa. It is a mild laxative and, due to its absorbent power, anti-diarrhea. Calcium alginate is used as a fast-acting local hemostatic agent. Laminarin exerts a lipid-lowering action.

How to take Fucus?

It is recommended to take 2-3 tablets three times a day.
