Description
Spirulina in noodles from Como Como Foods with an original format that allows you to take advantage of the properties of this blue-green microalgae almost without realizing it. These are small noodles or sticks of pure 100% organic spirulina that you can add to a salad, a smoothie, yogurt, toast, a vegetable cream or whatever you want.
Rich in vitamins and minerals, spirulina is anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, improves lipid profile, regulates blood pressure and blood glucose, and modulates the immune system.
It also has a magnificent property for the skin, which is to prevent skin aging induced by UVB rays.
Our spirulina has been meticulously grown in fresh water, harvested first thing in the morning, which is when its pigment content is highest, and subjected to a natural drying process below 40°C. This allows its properties to be kept intact, while guaranteeing a very mild flavor, nothing like other algae that taste like… algae.
How to take Spirulina in noodles?
Add up to 5 grams a day (1 tablespoon) to your salads, yogurts, creams, smoothies...
The only condition is that you do not heat it, high temperatures cause the loss of nutrients (you can add it to a hot dish once it is on the table).
Precautions
In the following cases, the consumption of spirulina must be ruled out:
- In case of phenylketonuria.
- People who have blood clotting disorders, with or without taking medications.
- Before and after surgery, due to its anticoagulant effect.
- People with uric acid problems, gout or severe kidney failure, due to its amount of proteins and purines.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding people, since the mobilization of heavy metals is not indicated in these stages of life.
- People who must control their B12 levels, such as vegans or vegetarians. Much of the vitamin B12 it contains is not in the active form, it is a vitamin B12 analogue, and this can alter analytical values.
