Description
Royal Nale Fresh Jelly is the food that worker bees give to newly hatched larvae. It contains the hormones for the growth of many insects and is of great value as a medicine, tonic or aphrodisiac in many parts of the world. Royal jelly has many different elements including protein, sugars, fats, minerals, and vitamins.
Properties and benefits of Fresh Royal Jelly
Under natural conditions, a larva destined to be queen develops in a larger alveolus, inside which worker bees deposit large amounts of royal jelly. Honey bee colonies can be manipulated by beekeepers to produce large numbers of queens, perhaps 50 or more, specifically for the royal jelly harvest. Worker bees produce large amounts of royal jelly - to do so the colony requires higher amounts of sugar - and deposit it in the alveoli of future queens for food. Instead of letting them develop and become queens, beekeepers remove them and harvest the royal jelly.
