Human-specific ferments are live microorganisms that, when ingested in sufficient quantities, exert positive effects on health, beyond traditional nutritional effects (FAO, WHO, 2011). Cilia of human origin, which have the property, unlike some strains of animal origin, of being able to cling to the intestinal wall (cell wall).
