Description
Oligen Sugar Control by Ifigen is a rich source of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), either alone or in combination with EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), it contributes to the maintenance of normal blood triglyceride levels. The intake of both long chain omega 3 fatty acids (minimum set 250 mg of DHA and EPA) favors the proper functioning of the heart. These fatty acids help maintain normal blood pressure. DHA in adults (daily intake 250 mg / day) favors the normal maintenance of vision and brain function.
Properties and benefits of Oligen Sugar Control
Fibers - especially beta-glucans from oats and rye, pectins and resistant starch - as well as artificial sweeteners, help to slow the rise in blood glucose after meals. The diet that is suitable for a diabetic person is the same as that recommended for a person who wants to prevent metabolic syndrome. It is advisable not to be overweight and even less obese. Physical exercise is useful in this regard, although if it is very intense, blood glucose levels should be controlled. DHA helps maintain normal brain function, maintains vision under normal conditions, and helps maintain normal levels of triglycerides in the blood. DHA and EPA contribute to the normal function of the heart. Chromium, by facilitating the action of insulin, contributes to a normal concentration of glucose in the blood and to an adequate metabolism of macronutrients.
