Zinc dipicolinate is a highly bioavailable form of zinc.

Properties and benefits of Zinc Picolinate

Zinc associated with rice protein improves its absorption as it forms chelates with dipeptides and amino acids.

Vitamin B₆ acts as a coenzyme for amino acid metabolism and improves zinc absorption.

Zinc is necessary for the catalytic activity of approximately 100 enzymes, contributes to acid-base balance, normal cognitive function, DNA synthesis, normal macronutrient metabolism, normal protein synthesis, maintenance of vision of hair, skin and nails.

It also contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage. Suitable for vegetarians.

How to take Zinc Picolinate?

1 tablet a day, 1 hour before meals, for 1 or 2 months or according to individual needs.

Precautions

Zinc can reduce the absorption of tetracyclines, it is recommended to distance its intake at least 4 hours apart. It is also recommended to distance the intake of zinc from other foods such as bran, foods rich in fiber, milk or other supplements of copper, iron or phosphorus. Zinc supplementation for long periods of time could cause copper deficiency. Do not exceed the expressly recommended daily amount.
