Properties and benefits of Manuka Essential Oil

Manuka oil is the essential oil that is extracted from the leaves of the Manuka plant through a process of steam distillation. The New Zealand manuka (Leptospermum scoparium) is a hardy evergreen plant that grows throughout New Zealand.

How to take Manuka Essential Oil?

Recommended to use for skin : use manuka oil with your favorite base oil (such as almond or jojoba oil): dilute 1 part of manuka oil in 10 parts of base oil (i.e. 1 drop of product in 10 ml of almond or jojoba oil)

Topical use .

In the aroma diffuser : Add pure Manuka essential oil to the diffuser for additional calming and relaxing effects. Suitable for young and old; For water-based diffusers, use 5 drops of oil in 100 ml of water

To use in the bathroom : add 10 drops to an emulsifying solution such as a neutral shampoo or to take a bath.

As a mouthwash : Add 1 to 2 drops of Manuka oil to a glass of warm water and rinse your mouth. Use it frequently as an oral hygiene routine to support gum health and prevent bad breath.

For Hair : Add 1 to 2 drops of manuka oil to your favorite shampoo to give your hair an extra boost. It can also be used to control dandruff and oily hair.

For insect bites: apply 1 drop of Manuka oil directly to the affected area to relieve the itch.
