How to take Piperita Peppermint Essential Oil?
It is recommended to use externally, diluted or in the bath water, in body oils, massage, or vaporized in oil burners.
Precautions
Internal consumption of essential oils, particularly undiluted, is not recommended, unless under professional supervision. Some oils are for external use only. A doctor should be consulted before using pure essential oils on pregnant women and children under the age of three. It is recommended that the essential oils used on the skin are diluted either in some vegetable oil with good penetration (ie almonds, grape seeds, rice germ, avocado, etc.) or added to the bath water. They can be used either separately or in combination, but the concentration should never exceed 5%. Certain oils can cause skin irritation and / or sensitization, and should be used in less than 1-2% dilutions. Some oils should be used with greater caution. Certain essential oils, and particularly citrus, react with sunlight. Therefore it is recommended to use them at night. (except for its use in shampoos and soaps). In the event of excessive accidental ingestion or of oils for external use, do not induce vomiting. Drink half a liter of water and see a doctor. Avoid contact of essential oils near the eyes or mucosa. If this happens, wash with plenty of water. If the discomfort persists after 10 minutes, see a doctor. Keep out of the reach of children.
Storage conditions
Keep essential oils in a cool, dry place.
