The Gingko or tree of the forty shields, is a unique tree in the world, without living relatives. From its leaves an extract is obtained that has flavonoids (ginkgoloids and heterosides) that when ingested increase central and peripheral blood circulation , and as a consequence the irrigation of organic tissues becomes more efficient.
Ginkgo is often used for memory disorders. It is also used for disorders that appear to be the result of low blood flow to the brain, especially in older people. These disorders include memory loss, headaches, ringing in the ears, vertigo, difficulty concentrating , mood swings , and hearing disorders. Some people use it for other problems related to decreased blood flow in the body, including discomfort to the legs when walking (claudication) and painful response to cold, especially in the fingers and toes.
How to take Ginkgo Biloba?
It is recommended to take 1 tablet a day, preferably with a meal.
Precautions
Keep out of reach of small children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
